The location was perfect for visiting Glacier and the lodge was charming. It was conveniently close to the entrance of the park and the Going to the Sun Road, making it easy to explore the beautiful scenery. The room in the lodge had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, like a place where old friends could gather. It was equipped with convenient amenities like complimentary coffee, a refrigerator, and a microwave, which made our stay more comfortable.
I was disappointed that breakfast was not served on one of the mornings we were there, especially since I had expected it. Additionally, during the breakfast we did have, they ran out of crepe mix and the coffeepot was broken, which was a bit frustrating.

Our stay at Great Northern Resort was amazing! We were visiting Glacier National Park and the location couldn't have been better, just a short distance from the park entrance. The best part was that the resort also offered white water rafting tours, adding an exciting adventure to our trip. The property itself exceeded our expectations, with its attractive and comfortable ambiance. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The on-site cafe was a highlight, serving delicious and healthy breakfast options. Our 3-year-old had a blast at the caboose cafe, the grassy outdoor space, and the sandy play area. The room was spacious and well-appointed, and our kids absolutely loved the bunk beds. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing us with a restful night's sleep after our long days of exploring the park. Finally, the manager went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He provided us with photocopied maps, marked and drew on them to show us the best trails, and even asked about trail conditions to help other travelers. We will definitely be recommending Great Northern Resort to our family and friends and can't wait to return in the future. This place offers a warm bed and a shower for those seeking a comfortable and quiet retreat between hikes and outings.
Our experience at Great Northern Resort was absolutely fantastic. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Great Northern Resort for a few nights while visiting Glacier National Park. The location is unbeatable, just a hop and skip away from the park entrance. The lodge itself has a cozy atmosphere, complete with game boards, books, and puzzles for relaxation. The hot water was a pleasant surprise, and the overall attention to detail in the lodge's construction was impressive. The room had plenty of outlets, including one by the mirror for easy getting ready. We also loved the absence of TVs, which added to the lodge's ambiance. The comfortable bed and small terrace with mountain views were delightful touches. We highly recommend this A+ place, especially if you're looking for a convenient and beautiful stay near the park.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

The room was spacious and had a large bathroom. We loved having direct access to the garden, with beautiful views. The proximity to the town and entrance of the national park was a huge convenience. The WiFi worked really well, which was a pleasant surprise.
The cafe on-site was expensive and closed early, so we had to find other dining options. The absence of a TV and poor WiFi made the evenings quite boring.

Beautiful riverside location, knowledgeable and friendly guides, delicious meals, convenient transportation, comfortable accommodations. We had an amazing time rafting on the Middle Flathead River with Great Northern. The scenery was breathtaking and our guide, Colin, was not only knowledgeable but also entertaining. The dinner raft trip exceeded our expectations with a tasty meal. The bus service provided by Great Northern was a bonus, saving us from a tiring walk back. We can't wait to come back next year!

Great value for the money with a spacious and comfortable room. The location was perfect, just a short drive to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. The manager went above and beyond, providing helpful maps and advice on the best trails.
Breakfast choices could be improved, maybe by offering a wider variety of options.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with open seating, game boards, books, and puzzles for relaxing downtime. Not to mention the hot water in the bathroom, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door.
Getting to and from the lodge without a car can be a bit of a hassle, due to the lack of taxi or ride-share options in the area.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, just two miles from the entrance of Glacier National Park. The staff are extremely helpful and provide excellent service, even going above and beyond to resolve any issues that may arise. The room we stayed in was comfortable, with cozy beds and a well-equipped kitchenette. The outdoor deck and espresso service are also great facilities that add to the overall experience.
Some areas of the hotel, particularly the lodge, could benefit from a renovation. The lighting is dim, there is chipped paint, and we experienced a broken showerhead during our stay.
